I would say fall is arguably the most fashionable time of year, but I don’t know anyone who would argue with that. IT IS the most fashionable time of year.
All the layers start to come out and it’s finally like I can build a complete outfit again without worrying if I’m going to sweat through it. Once that fall breeze starts to come in, it’s like I finally have a reason to get dressed again. My heat exhaustion (and general social exhaustion) starts to fade with every leaf that falls. Is that too dramatic?
Every year I look forward to the day I get to bring out my fall clothes again. As someone who is always freezing, there is nothing I love more than an oversized sweater and one too many layers.
Even though it’s still August, I can’t help looking at outfit inspo for the fall and planning what pieces I’m going to add to my closet. I love clothes that make getting dressed feel effortless in the morning, so I included lots of basics and nice accessories. That’s always my go to when I don’t know what to wear.
Let me know what you guys are shopping for what else I should add to my ever growing wishlist!
The Frankie Shop Loen Hot Pants - LOL did I really start my fall wishlist with a tiny pair of shorts? Guess so! These were styled with sheer tights underneath and now I can’t stop thinking about it.
The Frankie Shop Lace Top - I’ve been loving the little addition of a lace cami under a button up lately. It’s so subtle but also adds a little sexiness to an otherwise simple top. Leave a couple buttons undone so the lace peaks through - it’s gorgeous.
The Frankie Shop Bodysuit - I don’t know why people stopped wearing henly tops. They are look so good with jeans, they’re flattering and subtly sexy. The right cut makes all the difference and this one is perfect.
With Nothing Underneath Striped Button Down - A great button down to add to the rotation. I love that this one has brown stripes instead of the standard blue I always see.
Doen Albanie Top - Another VERY cute henley top to add to our basic top rotation.
St. Agni Open Back White Top - This one feels a bit more special than just a simple white top. It has a gorgeous open back that isn’t so revealing you couldn’t wear it to the office.
COS Oversized Boxy Tshirt - Oh man I love an oversized boxy fit tee and this one IS SO GOOD. If you like a more structured, classic fit - COS also has this as a great option.
Malene Birger Sweater - A nice neutral sweater that would making getting ready in the morning a breeze. Pair it with cute jewelry and you’ll immediately look put together.
Modern Citizen Leather Jacket - My leather jacket obsession continues. I can’t get over the fit of this one in particular. I love the cropped boxy look it and the color is perfect.
The Frankie Shop Suede Jacket - Another brown jacket but this time in suede. Fall feels like the time to really play with different textures and I love this one as a layering piece.
(I’ve thrifted almost all my jackets, by the way, and have found great pieces that I’ve worn for years if you didn’t want to shop new)
The Frankie Shop Azura Shirt - This looks like a very standard white blouse - but on the website it has the perfect amount of flowy and fit. The fit is just special enough to be different from most other blouses I’ve seen. You just have to see it for yourself.
The Frankie Shop Sheer Button Down - If I were going to do the ‘sheer’ trend, this is the piece I would do it with. It’s not so sheer that you feel completely exposed, which is really nice. I love how they styled it on the site with chunky bracelets and black layers.
Leset Pointelle Straight Leg Pants - Being comfortable is one of my number one priorities and these pants look incredible. They also come with a matching top so that makes it even easier to get dressed.
Mr.Larkin Corduroy Wide Pants in Taupe - I know I should probably be shopping for actual denim jeans but I LOVEEE these corduroy ones. How fun?!
Malene Birger Wool Trousers - A closet staple that’s not denim? Immediately adding it to my cart.
Helsa Romper - Cute and so low effort. I would definitely add the belt like they did in the photo, otherwise it looks a bit like a potato sack.
The Frankie Shop Suede Trench in Khaki - Jackets seem to be my weak spot when it comes to fall outfits. This suede khaki trench is just SO STUNNING. It would make every outfit better, I’m sure of it.
The Frankie Shop Ora Leather Belt - A beautiful belt to go with all brown things I added to my wishlist. I think it also comes in silver? How do I decide which to get?
Ettika Stacked Bracelet - A year ago I didn’t give a hoot about silver and now I’m obsessed. These bracelets would look so good over some long sleeves in the fall.
STAUD Leather Ankle Boots - A perfect pair of brown boots to pair with jeans, trousers…really anything except tights and a little dress. (personal preference, wear what makes YOU feel good.)
DMY Studios Olive Sunglasses - I love the tinted sunglasses trend we’ve been seeing lately. It feels so 70’s. This pair from DMY Studios is tinted but still feels kinds subtle.
COS Curved Wooden Ring - A little odd but I kinda love it. I’ve never seen a wood ring before but I love mixing textures in the fall and this would be a great addition.
COS Oval Buckle Belt - Another cute little basic belt, this one pulls in the silver tones I’m looking for.
Ralph Lauren Poplin Cap - I love a Ralph Lauren hat of any kind but I like that this one isn’t just the standard polo logo. The burgundy is giving off the best fall vibes too.
COS Gallery Tote Bag - I feel like we are all shopping for a brown suede bag at the moment and this one is sitting patiently in my cart waiting for me to hit purchase.
LuvLou Sonny Sunglasses - Tinted sunglasses but make it cat eye.
Black Suede Studio Silver Mules - I’ve never needed a shoe like I need these silver mules. Just image them with a pair of wide leg jeans!! It would be so cute.
Ben Amun Bracelets - I’m obsessed with the chunky bracelet over sleeves look and these would be perfect.
The Frankie Shop Track Jacket - I’m not sure how I’m suppose to decide which jacket from this list to buy, cause I also love this one. The bomber fit is perfectly slouchy and such a gorgeous shade. Someone tell me which jacket to buy, I can’t make this decision.
Sporty & Rich Sweat Set - If I’m being honest the only thing I actually want to wear this fall is cute matching sweat sets.
Hope & May Pacific set - Another cute set that makes getting ready SO EASY.
Eterne Sweatshirt & Shorts - I would live in this. I’m sure I would never change out of it if it was in closet.
American Vintage Sweatshirt & Shorts - Obsessed with the color and texture of this set.
Malene Birger Sweater Set - This has been on mental wishlist for a couple months and it did unfortunately sell out. I still wanted to add it just for inspo and as a mental reminder to myself to buy more sets.
Wow, one week on vacation in Colorado and I’m already planning my outfits for the next season. I love summer but I could do without the humidity.
It was so nice having some time off but I’m excited to be back! September is going to be SO FUN. We have the magazine launching in a couple weeks and some other fun things planned that I can’t wait to tell you about.
Till then, let me know what you guys are shopping for this fall and what I need to add to my list!
LOVE YOUUU
